Golden Sofia International Ballet Competition
Goals of the competition:
- Promoting the art of ballet among children,
- Encouraging the development of children’s ballet schools,
- Establishing creative contacts,
- Encouraging the creation of new children’s choreography,
- Comparative assessment of children’s schools against world trends in classical ballet and contemporary dance.
The competition is held in three categories:
- classical dance
- folk and stylized folk dance
- contemporary dance technique
